Sunsetting SSOVs
In 2021, one little blue protocol entered the DeFi space with a vision.
Option trading. Non-custodial. Fully on-chain.
With that, Dopex’s flagship Single Staking Option Vault (SSOV) product was born that has since seen over $400 million in cumulative volume, 9 different markets, and a peak of $162m in TVL. This was the first of its kind on Arbitrum and truly allowed the potential of decentralized options to be realized.
Alas, as with all in life, good things must come to an end.

Sunsetting the SSOVs
February is the last month that Dopex will continue supporting the SSOVs across all Dopex deployments and token markets.
This means that our final monthlies will be the currently bootstrapped February vaults while our final weeklies will be for the 23rd of February,
You will be dearly missed.
What now?
With the sunsetting of SSOVs, the core team’s focus will be on optimizing our new flagship option product, the CLAMM.
While it has already seen over $100m in trading volume since its creation, the plan is to further improve UX, push for more integrations, and add additional features. Over time, the extended expiries of the SSOVs will be integrated with the CLAMM allowing for more options for traders with the American-style benefits you now know and love.
Indeed we are now CLAMMed up.
