Earlier this year we announced the open-sourcing of the Dopex dApp’s front-end, allowing our beloved coders to peruse our codebase and create their user experience catered to their personalized needs.

Today we are launching the Dopex Front End registry that will allow community members to register their own front-ends for other users to use!

WOT MEAN DOPEX FRONT-END REGISTRY?

The Dopex Front-End Registry is a place for our budding community front-end developers (so-called “Dopex Front-End Operators” to make their designs known so that they can be added to our front-end registry. The front-end registry will be accessible to all users, allowing them to benefit from the toils of your hard work and labor.

WHY NEED DOPEX FRONT-ENDS

Centralization bad.

Decentralization good.

A Dopex front-end registry supported by community builders improves the decentralization and censorship resistance of the protocol.

This means Dopex front-end registry good.

HOW GET FRONT-END ADDED TO THE REGISTRY?

The most important thing is to make sure that your front-end is consistent with our guidelines and PR template. Any submissions that fail to meet this criteria will not be added to our esteemed registry.

Additionally, consider the uniqueness of your front-end compared to others that may exist. Use of front-ends is up to the end user so if you want to inflate your ego with the “Most Users of the 13 existing Dopex Users” award then it is important that yours stands out!

For example:CEO art → Good and good0xMinistry art → Incredibly mid and unmarketable

Please note that getting your front-end added to the registry is a manual process so there is no guaranteed timeline for getting your so-called “PR” (pull-request to the technically inclined) accepted. Patience is key.

I SEE SUSPICIOUS FRONT-END. WOT DO?

Every now and then, conniving devils may create malicious front-ends in the hopes of getting their clammy hands on your precious coins.

By the power vested in me as CEO of DeFi, I bestow upon you the right to report said suspicious front-ends - simply follow the reporting guidelines here.
