A DECENTRALIZED & OPEN SOURCE DOPEX FRONT END

Dopex is proud to announce an update to the protocol’s front end - as of today we have open sourced the Dopex dApp front end!

Our front end should become as decentralized as the protocol code on the blockchain. Open sourcing our front end is therefore a big step towards this. Additionally, open sourcing the code encourages innovation through collaboration that ultimately helps move the tech forward at a much faster pace. Anyone can now launch their own frontend from Dopex’s codebase and provide their service to DeFi users.

What does Open Source mean?

Open source is a development model where the code is made publicly available and anyone can modify and improve upon it. Open source front end frameworks allow developers to customize the code to create a personalized user experience that is tailored to their needs and preferences. Open source front ends can also save developers time by providing a core codebase that can be used as a starting point for their own project.

Nice, where can I start?

About Dopex

Dopex is a decentralized options protocol that aims to maximize liquidity, minimize losses for option writers and maximize gains for option buyers — all in a passive manner. Dopex uses option pools to allow anyone to earn a yield passively. Offering value to both option sellers and buyers by ensuring fair and optimized option prices across all strike prices and expiries. This is thanks to our own innovative and state-of-the-art option pricing model that replicates volatility smiles.
