Attention Dopegang, it’s time to channel your inner degen and put your trading skills to the test! Dopex is excited to announce our upcoming Option Scalps Trading Competition. Whether you’re an experienced trader or just starting out, this competition is open to everyone.

The trading competition will have shared prize pool of $30k to go towards our highest volume and best PnL traders.

Fret not if you don't fancy yourself a trader - another $20k in prizes is available to those that fancy themselves as online influencers or threadooors!

If this is the first time you are hearing of Option Scalps, it's best that you take a few minutes and get yourself familiar with the new product here.

How to Join?

Simply go to the Option Scalps page and connect your wallet. No whitelisting is required for this competition.

How to Trade?

Trading pairs eligible for the competition: ETH/USDC & ARB/USDC

  1. Go to https://app.dopex.io/scalps/ETH and connect your wallet

2. Select asset you want to trade

3. Select direction, timeframe and leverage

4. Decide how much collateral you want to trade with

5. Approve transactions

6. Either wait for expiry or close to cut-loss / secure profit

How to Win?

3 winners each will be selected based on cumulative PnL and volume, and will receive a part of the $30,000 prize pool according to the breakdown below:

By Volume:

  • 1st place - $7,500
  • 2nd place - $5,000
  • 3rd place - $2,500

By PnL:

  • 1st place - $7,500
  • 2nd place - $5,000
  • 3rd place - $2,500

Other Prizes and Incentives

There are other ways to receive incentives and win prizes during the competition.

  • Trading incentives - Top 25 traders by volume will each receive $500 in DPX ($12.5k in DPX total)
  • Twitter PnL Shares - Top 10 sharers by cumulative engagement receive $250 each ($2,500 in DPX total)
  • Twitter Threadooors - Top 20 threadooors receive $250 each ($5,000 in DPX total)

Competition Mechanics

  • Competition Duration: 10AM EDT/2PM UTC, 31 March 2023 to 5PM EDT/9PM UTC 7 April 2023
  • Eligible Trading Pairs: ETH/USDC and ARB/USDC
  • Minimum/ Maximum position size: $10/ $10,000
  • Timeframe (minute): 1, 5, 15, 30, 60

Prize Distribution

The team will need a few days to determine winners. As soon as we have the results, an announcement will be made and winners contacted via official channels.
