Dopex Insider: Team Q&A — Part 4

Today we’ll be interviewing a few of our team members. They’ve also been asked to share a little bit of α too :)

The past couple of months the Dopefam community has expanded a lot on Discord & Twitter, and with each day we get to know you all a little bit better. Hearing your stories, seeing you guys support each other, and contributing in your own way to grow Dopex has been amazing. As part of a new series we want to give you a peek behind the scenes at Dopex too! Today we’ll be interviewing a few of our team members. Keep reading, they’ve also been asked to share a little bit of α too :) ——— We’re starting off with our new big brain Dev addition: 📌 Despereaux A.K.A. Creator of DPX Alert bot responsibility: Dev When and how did you get into crypto? Discovered Bitcoin in the early days, forgot about it and came back to play only in 2019. How did your Dopex journey start? I felt the urge to try Arbitrum. Dopex was one of the first and best applications already operating and I fell in love with the idea and the style of communication of the team. I think options will be a massive narrative in the next few years and Tztokchad has a clear vision about how they should be implemented in DeFi, so one day I asked if they were looking for help to build stuff and started to contribute. What do you like most about working at Dopex? Team go super fast, iterates quickly and there are many cool things to work on. Everyday you learn something new. What does a typical (work)day look like for you? I spend most of my days coding while listening podcasts or song in the background. Time flies. What is your favorite Discord channel? #copypasta. You can only choose one; team $DPX or $rDPX? Before joining the team I had only rDPX. That’s where my heart is. What alpha can you share with the community, something you learned from your time in crypto. Late 2017 via a friend who was very excited about blockchain technology and crypto. How did your Dopex journey start? I have a finance background but learned to play with options through Dopex via the same fren. They helped me with all the steps form bridging to writing in SSOVs and buying options. That’s when I also learned how well thought out everything is. What do you like most about working at Dopex? The community. What does a typical (work)day look like for you? Managing CN social channels, marketing partnerships & collaborations, translating assets to CN, organizing CN AMAs etc. What is your favorite Discord channel? #general, #market-discussion, #CN discussion channel. How did your Dopex journey start? I was offered to be a mod by TzTokChad unexpectedly. What do you like most about working at Dopex? Almost everything. The community memboors, the team and the boss. What does a typical (work)day look like for you? Wake up - Discord - Sleep - Repeat. What is your favorite Discord channel? #support #general You can only choose one; team $DPX or $rDPX? rDPX. What alpha can you share with the community, something you learned from your time in crypto. Most people think the big money in crypto is in day trading, but the holy grail in cryptocurrency industry right now is spotting the gems before the public knows about it. Understanding pre-sale, public sale and pre-exchange purchase arrangements is so vital for massive profits.

I started dabbling in crypto back in 2016 thanks to my good friends Corp and WB. As a complete noob I was always intrigued into the whole crypto scene and thanks to Corp I started buying as much crypto as I could with my uni pocket money my parents used to give me. How did your Dopex journey start? Again this was all because of Corp and Wb. I was talking to them about the usual crypto investment stuff back before dopex was a thing and they kept recommending me to invest in this new upcoming product called DOPEX. And the rest is history. What do you like most about working at Dopex? Honestly the best part is being able to communicate with such an amazing community on the daily. Makes me feel like I’m part of something really special and I get to help new people get into this family (or cult lol) and familiarise themselves with Dopex. What does a typical (work)day look like for you? First thing I do when I wake up is look at discord to see what the chat was like when I wasn’t online. Then I get ready to go Wagecuck at my 8-5 lol. All while also helping around in the Dopex community full time. I hope to soon be able to leave my irl Wagecuck so I can get more involved with Dopex as a whole. What is your favorite Discord channel? General, copypasta and now the diamond pepes channel. You can only choose one; team $DPX or $rDPX? Team rDPX baby!!!!! What alpha can you share with the community, something you learned from your time in crypto. Sometimes it’s better to go with your gut instinct. I know I have moments I regret because I listened to someone else’s advice rather than doing what I felt like doing. And if you make a mistake, it’s ok… we’re all humans here ;) ——— > Last but not least, our newest addition to the family: 📌 Ax responsibility: Marketing When and how did you get into crypto? I got in around August of last year through a friend who introduced me to Solana. At that time, I was looking for other investment opportunities to supplement my income as an intern. I started trading with some altcoins but eventually realized I wasn’t the trading type, so I decided to be involved with protocols. I then landed my first intern gig with Mario and never looked back. How did your Dopex journey start? I was introduced to Dopex by Mario and was told to ape-in 100% of my net worth to $DPX or $rDPX. Just kidding. I started watching Dopex more closely, learning how options work and eventually trying out the protocol myself. The more time I spent in the Dopex discord the more I got interested in contributing to the protocol. I started with some infographics and eventually was invited to help out in socials. What do you like most about working at Dopex? What really impressed me was the Dopex community because everyone was willing to help out newbies understand options and how to use it. The meme game of the community is also on another level, and I can’t think of one protocol that can match with Dopex. What does a typical (work)day look like for you? It differs depending on where I’m stationed at work, but I try to check-in discord from time-to-time when I can. Currently, I’m helping out Bella on socials, so we’ll be creating content and releasing announcements to keep the community engaged and hopefully attract more users to the protocol.
