DOPEX INSIDER: TEAM Q&A — PART 3
The past couple of months the Dopefam community has expanded a lot on Discord & Twitter, and with each day we get to know you all a little bit better. Hearing your stories, seeing you guys support each other, and contributing in your own way to grow Dopex has been amazing. As part of a new series we want to give you a peek behind the scenes at Dopex too!
Today we’ll be interviewing a few of our team members. Keep reading, they’ve also been asked to share a little bit of α too :)
We’re starting off with our big brain favourite:

When and how did you get into crypto?
I was mining Dogecoin during the genesis week.
How did your Dopex journey start?
Saw Defigod announce it on Twitter, joined discord 5 minutes later.
What do you like most about working at Dopex?
A good project and strong team in a predictable and transparent roadmap, planned and projected, i think in the near future we will see an unprecedented growth of this project.
What does a typical (work)day look like for you?
Right now I am still transitioning away from my irl job, so it’s a fire drill. Anyway the day looks like -> work -> take a break -> think how to solve sth -> work.
What is your favorite Discord channel?
General and JPM.

When and how did you get into crypto?
I really got into crypto at the beginning of 2021, previous to that I was a bitcoiner who was buying yolo call options in meme stocks. I decided to open a twitter account and learn about this whole “DeFi” thing.
How did your Dopex journey start?
My journey started around the public sale timeframe, I stayed active around the Discord and helped onboarding members. Around September I joined full time as a PM for the team.
What do you like most about working at Dopex?
Our giga brain team, memes, community and that we’re building a complex but fun suite of products. There’s no other place I currently see myself working right now. Innit for the frens and tech.
What does a typical (work)day look like for you?
- Dev standups to see the current status of projects.
- Help users if they have any query regarding our products, collect their insight and translate that to actionable tasks for our devs to work on.
- Socialize with the marketing team for upcoming product releases.
- Pretty much make sure everyone’s is successful in their role.
What is your favorite Discord channel?
Recently #copy-pasta but I mostly spend my time in #general and #support.

What alpha can you share with the community, something you learned from your time in crypto?
The best project to invest is in yourself.Cherish the frens you made along the way.Prioritize your health to be in your top game.

When and how did you get into crypto?
I started in 2020. I met up with an old friend who introduced me to crypto. I was looking for high yield financial products for my savings and crypto was a no-brainer to me.
How did your Dopex journey start?
It was just another day at work when my friend reached out and said Dopex was looking for a designer. I shared my portfolio simply with the thought of earning extra cash — no idea where that could lead me to.
What do you like most about working at Dopex?
Despite my designer role, I get to learn a lot more about crypto, infrastructure, option trading, and more by following the channels.
What does a typical (work)day look like for you?
Catching up on graphics deadlines with lo-fi/ R&B music playing in my headphones.
What is your favorite Discord channel?
(non Dopex) Pepe Server, its my pool of inspo.

What alpha can you share with the community, something you learned from your time in crypto.

When and how did you get into crypto?
I knew about it for years now but stayed limited to dabbling in BTC every now and then. Took the full leap into it this year.
How did your Dopex journey start?
It was a proposition from Tz who knew of my meme work in my old normie job that made me decide to jump over to Dopex.
What do you like most about working at Dopex?
I learn everyday and not just from the team, but also the community around it.
What does a typical (work)day look like for you?
A lot of catching up with current events on CT and making relevant memes.
What is your favorite Discord channel?
I have a soft spot for #memes but also #gm, #anime-n-manga and #ideas.

What alpha can you share with the community, something you learned from your time in crypto.
You already know that people underestimate how smart the Dopex team really is but what you don’t know is how people underestimate how ambitious the Dopex team is. It’ll be apparent soon!

When and how did you get into crypto?
June, 2021.
How did your Dopex journey start?
Dmed Corporal feast on twitter, built an ERC20 OTC app, Tz saw it and here I am.
What do you like most about working at Dopex?
Teammates are very helpful and positive in every aspect.
What does a typical (work)day look like for you?
Researching about features to implement, Implementing them and fixing bugs/tech support on the side.
What is your favorite Discord channel?
Joined Discord in September and Dopex discord group is the only one I’m in so far.

DPX. But I have an idea for an INDEX with subsets of DPX and rDPX which in my idea world would be called DRX, it’s for people that don’t want to take side in DPX or rDPX separately if they treat both as valuable assets.
What alpha can you share with the community, something you learned from your time in crypto.

📌 Tztokchad A.K.A. Tz(responsibility: founder, strategist, dev)
When and how did you get into crypto?
I’ve been in the space for a while, bought my first bitcoin initially via virwox -> paypal -> btc for low triple digits, flipped it a few times for RSGP back and forth but really didn’t do any sort of development until Ethereum came along. Got into eth based dev in late 2016 and been in eth ever since. Launched projects back then as anon and have been active in the space ever since.
How did your Dopex journey start?
I’d come up with the idea for dopex around late 2018 and began building the 1st iteration early 2019. I built a couple of iterations since then until we got to the 3rd one, and had Witherblock come onboard in late 2020 to help build the protocol — and since then everything’s gotten us to the point where we are today.
What do you like most about working at Dopex?
Bouncing off ideas with the rest of the team. Thinking up new ways to make use of option composability and simplifying traditionally complex products. Brainstorming with frogs & orcas. The alpha leaks there would be worth 0.1b+ easy.
What does a typical (work)day look like for you?
